Another popular question I've heard is, what's up with the bizarre Utah drinking laws? Believe the hype- they were as wack as you think they were. However, most of these massively inconvenient laws have been scaled back in the past few years. This does not include the 3.2% maximum alcohol limit in the state, sadly. Often times, the cool locals drive up to Idaho or Wyoming to get beer with a normal level of alcohol. But, you can also get usual America-standard beer at state liquor stores.
